Certified Medical Board Investigator (CMBI) Program

In 2007, AIM, in a collaborative effort with the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), designed a state medical and osteopathic board investigator certification program to provide comprehensive, subject-specific education and training for state medical and osteopathic board investigators. The goal of the program is to provide a resource to boards that will give specialized training to individuals who are in the position of investigating complaints received by medical and osteopathic boards.
